So, Valve has confirmed that Steam will indeed be releasing on the Mac. How successful this will be, considering the latent abilities of the Mac as a gaming platform, is yet to be seen, but it's happening, nonetheless.
VIVA LE REVOLUCION!
In reality though, you had to see this coming, with Mac's able to run just about anything windows can (minus .exe-s) and their growing popularity, it was bound to happen.
It's definitely attributed to the coming of the iPad and the iTunes store. Valve wants a piece of that pie and they're getting it by offering an organization and history solution. Imagine being able to sync your gaming on your iPhone/iTouch easily with your iPad. Although that may be a given between the device provided by Apple, but history of gaming and the ability to seamlessly load and upload on the fly without giong to the Store proves to be a worthwhile gain.
I agree Blake, you saw it coming, but I must say....Well timed Apple, well timed!
